Bring innovation to your classroom by participating in the EU Code Week Icebreaker MOOC

Are you a primary or secondary school teacher looking for ideas and inspiration to make your lessons more interesting and fun? Would you like to increase your student’s motivation by participating in EU Code Week, but you don’t know where to start from?

Then the EU Code Week Icebreaker Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), starting 3 June is the perfect opportunity for you to get a practical start and learn more about computational thinking, coding and EU Code Week.

The course targets primary and secondary school teachers of any subject and experience with coding who are willing to bring innovation in their classroom year-round.

The 5-hour MOOC will provide you with ideas, free training material and resources to help you organise a Code Week activity in your classroom. You will have the possibility
to start and complete the course at your own pace, depending on your availability and free time, between the 3rd and 26th of June. The EU Code Week Team will moderate the course and support you with the information needed to successfully complete the course.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a course badge and a course certificate validated by European Schoolnet and the University of Urbino. Moreover, teachers registering and reporting an activity on the Code Week map will receive a certificate validated by the European Commission.
