Ministry of Education of Catalonia organized the “Jornada Programa” (Code Day) for Primary and Secondary Schools

This event was organized for teachers to share their experiences and find out about different ideas and strategies that can be used when teaching in the classroom.

There were different activities depending on the targeted teachers, from kindergarden to primary school and, even, for high school teachers. Furthermore, there were coding and robotics activities for everyone.

The 7th Jornada Programa event took place on May 16th. In total around 250 teachers and 50 pupils attended the event. There were many different activities, such as:

• Presentations by teachers’ to share their experiences.
• An exhibition of pupils’ work that used for demonstrating what they have done.
• Exciting workshops run by teachers for teachers.

All of them had the same goal: showing different kinds of methodologies for teachers to improve their lessons when teaching coding and robotics.
