Get ready to mark your calendars because the date for EU Code Week 2024 has been set. This year, everyone’s favourite coding event of the year will take place on 14-27 October! The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to see the incredible coding activities and events that will unfold in Europe and around the globe throughout the year as we work towards EU Code Week 2024.
The chosen dates for this year’s EU Code Week were carefully selected through a collaborative effort involving 43 Code Week Ambassadors, 83 Leading Teachers, and six other members of the EU Code Week community, hailing from 29 countries. The aim was to ensure that Code Week 2024 aligns seamlessly with the preferences and availability of our diverse community.
But wait, what exactly is EU Code Week?
Most of you will already know, but for newcomers to the Code Week community – EU Code Week is a grass-roots movement that celebrates creativity, problem solving and collaboration through programming and other tech activities. In fact, the idea is to make programming more visible and to encourage people of all ages to explore the world of programming, discover the fun in creating with code, and gain valuable digital skills for the future.
Now, here’s the crucial part: Register Your EU Code Week Activity!
Plus, to make EU Code Week 2024 even more impactful, we’re calling on you to register your activities on the EU Code Week map. It’s a simple process that ensures your event gets the recognition it deserves. Also, by adding your activity to the map, you contribute to the collective celebration of coding and help us showcase the incredible diversity of events taking place throughout Europe.
Here’s a reminder of how to register your activity:
- Visit the EU Code Week website and log in or create an account if you haven’t already.
- Navigate to the “Add Activity” section and fill in the details of your event.

Finally, by registering your activity, you not only contribute to the success of EU Code Week but also become eligible to receive a well-deserved Code Week certificate.
