What sparked your interest in coding / Code Week?

We carry out our work through a network that covers large audiences in Turkey. Also, we are part of an international learning community. This community supports us with the spread of innovation.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn / teach coding?

Writing code is a problem solving method using information technologies. For this reason it’s important to learn how to code. Coding makes difficult problems solvable and brings innovative solutions with the advantages of information technologies. Also, when coding, a large team can participate in the solving of a single problem.

What advice related to coding that you received inspired you most, and why?

Teachers from many different branches are involved in the Turkeys Code Week. In general, we hear that coding helps students in achieving, creating and recreating numerous things. Teachers state that coding and algorithm design improve students’ problem-solving skills starting from young age groups. This feedback makes me think that we need to make good use of the resources at our disposal to solve difficult problems.
